Turmoil as Stressed-out Lloyds Boss Takes Leave

LONDON EVENING STANDARD: The boss of taxpayer-backed bank Lloyds has been given immediate sick leave after being diagnosed with extreme fatigue and stress due to overwork.

Antonio Horta-Osorio, 47, has been ordered to rest for between six and eight weeks because he is physically and mentally exhausted.

Lloyds directors, under their chairman Sir Win Bischoff, held an emergency board meeting this morning to decide how the bank will be run in Horta-Osorio's absence. » | Nick Goodway | Wednesday, November 02, 2011
