Cash for Air. Hmm! I Beg Your Pardon: Cash for Blair

THE TELEGRAPH: Is Tony Blair batting for both sides?
The former PM will be working for rival Goldman Sachs later this week, despite just signing up on a £2.5m stipend to the JP Morgan rest home (his salary's rising faster than the price of British groceries).

He will appear in Florida on Friday at Goldman Sachs' client jamboree focusing on foreign exchange, a little pep talk for which Blair is apparently charging £300,000 - which should help with the winter heating bills.

"He's speaking for us at a conference in Florida," confirms a reluctant Goldman Sachs spokesman.

"But you'll have to rely on your source for the other information."

I'll take my chances with that. [Source: Blair rakes in Sachs of cash] Edited by Simon Goodley
